I have been using this app for the last semester and study with it for all my classes. I have more than 1000 flashcards in it. They way it lets me design my cards and rearrange them or move them to other decks is great and easy. I would recommend this to anyone who loves this study technique and is a visual learner. I have past all exams with a good really good grade and credit this study tool with some of the success. I must say I ran into the problem of the app crashing on me today. I saw a not so nice review on the same problem here earlier and feel that I have to address it. I emailed the support about my app crashing and the urgency of it working fast again. I have an exam next week and put a lot of effort in making my flashcards with flashfacts. I heared back from support right away with an easy to follow step by step plan on what to do and how to get the app working again. I followed it and now my app works again beautifuly. There is no data loss (I backup to iCloud) and Tyler was very helpful. So all in all I can only recommend this app to every student who has not the time and resources to make hard copies of flashcrads for their classes. This app makes it easy to make flashcards, study them and keeps a statistic on how well you are improving. You can study in different ways too but I usually use the front-to-back method. This is worth every penny! Thank you to Tyler for making this app and offering a great support!

I have been using this to write some flash cards that I can eventually print out. I think the program is not necessarily intuitive. But, after awhile, you begin to understand how it was put together and it becomes easier. I emailed the author twice for support and received feedback within 30 minutes - that was pretty impressive! What I like about it most, is converting the cards to a PDF format and then being able to save it or email it directly from the program to others. Also, it looks great when you print it out. So, this program more than meets my expectations.

I have been trying to use this app for years. It’s buggy and although the customer service is fast and friendly, that doesn’t make up for the app never working as it’s supposed to. Currently, my issue is iCloud syncing not working (annoying when you’ve paid for both the desktop and iOS apps for that purpose). In the past it’s been disappearing decks, disappearing cards, and other problems. I want to like this app!

This app is the best flashcard app I’ve been able to find that allows me to use math formulas. It gives the option of using LaTeX to make pretty formulas instead of awkward fractions a/b and other workarounds. That really helps when you’re studying statistics and need to learn a lot of formulas.

wonderful for school, love it, so worth the 4.99$, the seller is prompt to reply to any emails regarding the app and is helpful. HOWEVER: the app for computers is not compatible with iphone unless you spend another 4.99$ for the mobile app. Thats just plain wrong. the app has a glitch where the space bar is used to flip the card and then to mark it correct, (#1 is used to mark it incorrect) and most of the time the space bar key only works on one of the actions, rarely on both. When contacted about this issue the seller assured me that it would be solved and yet there was never an update to actually solve the problem. so the app is great, but there are a few things that need to be worked out and haven’t been, despite it being brought to attention.

It doesn’t sync properly!!! and It’s not easy to use. Although, I asked apple to give my money back, they didn’t.

This app is exactly like index cards, simple and easy to use. I have around 8 classes / semester, 200 Index card for $5 @ Walmart or unlimited for $5? Great for university! Some improvement might be deleting, when you press delete, it straight up deletes it. It rarely crashes, happened 2-3 times, but all the data is saved! overall 4.5 / 5

This app is fairly simple in terms of actually making the cards and reviewing, however, this comes with a huge caveat. There seems to be endless problems with syncing between devices that results in immense frustration. Considering you have to pay both for the mac app AND the iPhone app in order to get the benefits of either (which is BS to begin with because it’s not stated up front), this is pretty ridiculous and ends in huge amounts of wasted time. Very disappointed because I initially liked this app, but now it’s just stressing me out.

Finally a flashcard app that is straightforward! Decent text and image editing. It allows you to view the cards back to front, front to back, custom order, etc. It randomly shuffles the deck. Has a straightforward correct/incorrect tally. It supports multiple decks in a simple layout. Has a relatively uncluttered GUI. Part the elegance of flashcards are their simplicity. Question on the front, answer on the back, shuffle the deck each time you go through. It boggles my mind how so many flash-card programs seem complicate this very straightforward process by getting you to do things like rate your confidence on each card. My confidence in answering a question is completley irrelevant. My only concern is am I able to actually answer the question?’ Did I get it right or wrong? The objective behaviour is what matters, not the subjective emotion that accompanied it. In contrast to so many other flash-card apps, this one seems to get things right.

Great app that does exactly what it promises. Clean interface, intuitive controls, zero hassle. The program runs smoothly and with zero latency; great buy! Highly recommended for anyone looking to learn painlessly.

The ultimate flash card app ! Lets you make creative flash cards for any subject you want ! When you study, it removes cards that you get correct, and continues to show cards you dont know the answers for. So easy to add your own photos, clip art etc. This app makes studying feel more like a game ! Great !

Tabbed imporst still dont work

This is awesome. I bought it because I realized I am going to use this for a long time. I would definitely recommend. The only thing, is I havent found a way to quickly make new cards. It is kind of a pain to make the cards, but the studying with them is awesome!

After spending more than an hour to finally get some of a tab text to import, it still will not work. Reporting too many columns. Forcing me to use a folder to hold only a text file!! Poor programming. I guess you wanted my 5.00 more than me; but I will tell everybody how you are a poor programmer and to stay away from your apps. You refund me now! OMG, you break so many Mac UI conventions its not funny. This has to be a windows port then. Oh, there is no way to print or save text out either. After struggling to get 1000 cards, app is sooo slow…. I am on a quad core! I am moving on. Should have know better for 5.00. I will not be buy any of your apps ever. Hope your forced to pay refunds.

I used this app for trhe first 3 months of school and it worked fine, now it keeps freezing and shutting down my computer. Really disappointing.

This app worked upon first download. Now, it does not allow uploads to iCloud and use with iPhone. I’ve tried removing the app from my iPhone and reinstalling with no positive results. I will discontinue using it sadly after buying both the destop and mobile apps to work together. Very unfortunate waste of money...

This is a great app for studying. However, it would be great if there could be a way to organize notecard groups in folders. You can color code and filter the cards so that you can see only certain groups of notecards at a time, but I would like to be able to organize them in folders so that it looks better aesthetically. Also, I am having difficulty opening notecards on other devices. Other than these issues, this is a very reliable and helpful way to study!
